A rainy tuesday morning.....

Ever notice how time can stand still on a rainy day?

The poor people at my office are having a bad week. Two of the staff are out for deaths in the family and two managers are at a convention. So it's been quiet.

Me?  I'm a little tired...  WOW till 12:30am ... but doing well.

I'm going to help with the kids polls today. (

I don't think you need to apologize. I think when a person shares their true selves they feel quite vulnerable- like they are naked in front of everyone. Question is, do the people you feel are your friends responding nagatively toward your true self or are they in understanding? If they are being jerks, well "friend" is the one word you shouldn't be calling them. I think your wife would agree with me on that point. Can I get an AMEN from anyone out there? My problem seems to mirror yours-I think my problem is that I feel if I am completely honest everything will fall into place- but I have discovered many people don't like who I really am I suppose because I think overall (without alcohol) I am a good and empathetic person- sure I get insulted about my timid nature on occasion and the fact that I have a recurring run in with OCD - but it's who I am -it's what shapes me as a person.

What? Somebody is giving you shit over your last post??? Tom, I appreciated having the opportunity to gain some insight into someone I've known and liked for years, not to mention that it was actually a very interesting post. Ditto to the above...anyone who likes you "less" for your post isn't a "friend" and is no loss!!
