This all sounded a bit too Chicken Soup for the Time Lord’s Soul. and They were broken men now, fragmentary remnants of the bright-eyed, hopeful children they’d been when last they’d met this way. They were colder. They were darker. They were both insane. And they were so, so much more desperate not to be alone. and a total slut for me and and and. Jesus. I feel like a record player saying that this was wonderful, because I'm pretty sure I say that about all of your fics, but this one had me caught somewhere between amused and just sad, especially that last "Don't leave me" and "Just try to get rid of me." And the familiarity- that gesture of running his hands through the Doctor's hair- god. Tugged on my heartstrings.

I love the way you've characterized the both of them in this. The Doctor is especially spot on, because he is just as broken as the Master if not more so, and I can see this. I could see the potential in this that moment in Season 3 when the Master was dying. And seriously, the line: If I hated you, I’d’ve offed myself. ( ... )

Oh.My.God. I can't even type right now. That was the. best. thing. ever. It was hilarious (Which could be a bad thing because my hysterical giggles probably woke up the entire house), but beautiful too and very touching and I'm terrible at explaining myself but I loved it!!! And I'm soo excited to read the rest!!!! You are the best person ever!!! Please keep writing!!!!
(P.S. Doctor as Ariel = major win and some fangirly heart palpitations :D )

Great mix of amusing and serious, fighting and tenderness. I enjoyed it immensely.

Oh my. I loved this so much. Great dialogue between them. Funny and sweet. And both so desperate in their own ways. Then the ending... it was perfect.

This was fantastic. If only I could show you the things my heart did while I was reading. And the Doctor's 'Don't leave me' line, wonderful. (Also, Dune reference ftw!) /fail!comment is fail
