“Inciting altercations while the crown prince is attempting to pursue espionage investigations.” Arthur brought up his other hand. “General failure as a servant; denial of the crown prince’s conclusions to that effect. Insolence verging on insurrection. Constant flirting on the job.”
“Flirting with people other than you, you mean,” Merlin fired back. - hee! I love how Merlin keeps putting his foot in his mouth and keeps saying things that he doesn't realize are true, until it's too late.
Merlin frowned. “He’s just worried I’ll get dirt in his bed.”
There was a communicative pause, during the course of which Collette’s eyebrows rose considerably. - I love Collete! I love Harper and Ian too, but I love Collette best.
“The Dragon?” he repeated flatly. “What Dragon?”

I'm pretty sure every conversation Arthur and Merlin have translates to "You are the light of my life, you stupid bastard" on both sides. Which is much of what I love about them. XD
