MCU Ladies Exchange fic rec

I just read and LOVED that fic. And knowing how you feel about Maria, the delight of when and why she shows up was doubled for me, thinking about your reaction to that.

It was SUCH a delightful and enjoyable fic, every word, every interaction between Pepper and the other women, the way they just kept pulling the female characters in and giving them roles and, oh, Maria and how perfect she is to take on the spearhead role.

Now I want the story told from Maria's POV, including the process of winning the players over (because they wouldn't all automatically be on board, some would require proof from her - over and over and over again) and what happens in the post-game celebrations and, oh, so many myriad things, small and large.

Basically, it was so many shades of amazing and fun. I'm so very happy about it! :D

I want the other perspective fic about Steve and Maria's long, subtle romantic that they don't admit to and don't act on, until one of them ends up leaving the team and then that night they trash the hotel room together.

Also, did you like your gift fic? Because I just read that this morning, and really enjoyed it.

Yes! It was done very subtly and powerfully, I think - all the layers of discrimination that Maria experiences, and getting Peggy's 'advice' on it, even if it's not specific to her circumstances.
