I am having the exact same problem with Not Primetime. I have started something that I think they'll enjoy, but it just doesn't seem like... much? I don't even know. It's driving me nuts to feel like it won't be to the best of my abilities, I guess? *shakes head*
GdT is writing the script with a new screenwriter, although apparently Travis Beacham is weighing in. I'm more hopeful about the fact that GdT is writing it, because Travis Beacham hasn't exactly convinced me he can write anything other than tropes.
