I was so anxious reading this, and then the realization that Torren had the sheer power to control all the hybrids was scary as hell.

Torren John Emmagen, king of the zombies indeed.

Great story! Very angsty with a tiny touch of humor and John-Teyla tenderness. I am very glad that Torren and Ronon did what they did. I also really liked the moment when Teyla realized her true responsibility to her son. Teyla & Co. are certainly going to have their hands full with Torren.

Wow, this is a very well-written story, but I have to admit that Torren having this kind of mind control makes me uncomfortable. I love John and Teyla together and John respecting Teyla's wishes, even though he hated it. I certainly hope that this was the last version of Michael out there. Well done!

hey there. read the story on dream width, but since I don't have an account there, I came on over here to comment. There's a lot that I really love about this story. The John/Teyla bits of course. The premise that they've beaten "Death" and gotten Rodney back to normal (and having just finished the cliffhanger that was The Furies, this makes me happy to just imagine it. lol) I'm with everyone else, it's a little scary to think Torren has all that control at the young at of 3. But I think it worked really well. :) Great story overall. I really enjoyed reading it and thanks for sharing. --k

With Ronan shooting Michael just as the hybrids reached him, it takes away the responsibility for Michael's killing from Torren. Well done! And I loved the way you showed the bond between Teyla and John. Powerful. Great story!
