I like that you got John/Teyla-ness into an episode that will now be forever held hostage as Sheppard/Weir ep.

Very nice, missus. Very nice indeed.

Great scene. Fits in perfectly. John did seem distracted by his emotions when she brought up Teyla's baby and Teyla was a little too adamant that Torrin was not his child. Agreed on the guilt issue. The faux Elizabeth seemed to bring back all his anger at himself at leaving her behind at her order, letting her kill herself. I know the Shep/Weir people think the last scene was him pining for her but I interpreted it as his grief and guilt at having to basically allow her to kill herself for the greater good again, that he still could not save her, even with a second chance. Also agreed on Teyla choosing not to wait around for John, whatever her feelings still may be. A Pegasus native surely would take the attitude that life is too fleeting to wait around for someone else to recognize their feelings and get their act together. Instead she moved on and found someone she was friends with and could be happy with. Very sad but very pragmatic too.

Lovely! This is such a nice little extra scene and I think you really captured the feeling of sadness that ran through that whole episode.

Also: yay, for shippiness!
