Azula was on her way to her usual table (the back corner of the room; she always either sat alone or with Ty Lee) when she spotted the two boys. Everyone knew who they were, even if they hadn't before-- it wasn't every day that DDD High School had deadly bus accidents.
She regarded them coolly as she walked by-- and then decided to stop. "Will the scars last?"
Chika had to laugh. "Wow, do so few people ask you out that you still remember something from that long ago? That's just sad."
Of course, knowing Azula as he hadn't at the time, it was more likely that she simply kept track of all the people she'd gotten to reject, so that she could gloat over how many people worshiped her or something. But Chika thought his version was more amusing.
Chika was still grinning, pleased to have so neatly turned the tables on the arrogant girl. "Dude, you get at least one confession a day normally, don't you?" he asked Shito, laughing. "Though there haven't been any yet today... I suppose they're still sighing over how brave and resilient we both are."
"Keep dreaming," Azula said haughtily. (In truth, of course, she didn't have much of an idea at all of how popular these two were with the other girls.)
Shito rolled his eyes again. "No, they seem too scared to approach me now that you're sitting beside me and I'm injured. I don't mind."
He smirked at Azula, wondering if the rumours about her and Ty Lee were true. "If you're not interested in boys, then just say so. I don't really care."
Chika loved watching Shito turn that acid wit of his against someone else. Especially someone Chika didn't like much (hot or not). Grinning, he leaned back in his chair and waited to see what Azula would say to that.
Azula knew exactly what he meant... but she pretended that she didn't. "Of course," she replied smoothly. "The idea that I would actually date at this school is absurd. I certainly am not interested in boys."
"Hey, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more hot lesbian action in this school," Chika said, smirking. "We're forward and progressive and all that, aren't we?"
She regarded them coolly as she walked by-- and then decided to stop. "Will the scars last?"

"Well, that's just as well, since you couldn't pay me enough to ask you out," he told her, his tone light but his eyes narrowed.
