Amy here with just a quickish announcement about what's going on with the game plot now that the news is out about what has to be done to save the world. There's at least three separate things that will be going on at one time, so even if one isn't your cup of tea, you can certainly get in on some of the rest

Going Home?

Penelo is... probably going to leave. A long time ago she made a promise to Edward if they ever had a choice, she would go with him to Damcyan. Even though he's gone, she's going to hold to that promise. Unless something drastic happens and he comes back or friends adamantly refuse to let her.

If I do go that route, I'll be sure to do it early enough that you all can recruit/enable a new Penelo so I'm not squatting on the spot.

Question, modly types! For myrrh collecting. Would Tactics Advance - and Tactics A2, to cover Frims here as well - be treated as a seperate cast, or would they be adopted into the XII cast? For TA2 it would make sense, at least, as it takes place post Revenant Wing's canon and re: Vaan and Penelo being there.

Or would the Tactics lot all group together?

That's a good question and I'm still trying to sort out an answer for that. We've got a couple of options here. We can lump all the Tactics folks together which I hadn't actually thought of until you mentioned it. I can tuck Frims in with the XII crew and then add three more trees into the world locations for Ritz. Or I can pull the Wonders concept from FFT and pick three places that aren't formally on the map that are present to be visited and let you know what those are. One of those would be from FFTA.

Hmmm... given that, I'm somewhat leaning towards Frims being in the XII crew and going for the Wonder option with Ritz, if that's okay? It just sounds a nice idea to me and would be something that would spark her interest, at least!
