Wow...

That's all? No admonitions? No "Be careful, Ares?" No "Have you thought this through, Ares?"

I mean...uh...thank you.

And I don't exactly envy you...

We flash hot and cold with frightening alacrity. I'd end up murdering her.

So they are keeping score in cash instead of bodies. You're finally moving into the modern age, Ares.

Fortune is smiling upon you for now, so enjoy it, I suppose.

They're keeping score of how many bodies lie broken before me as well...though they apparently prefer to see their gladiators walk away afterward. Perhaps I am moving into the twenty-first century.

A gentle nudge from fortune is always something to be enjoyed. We shall see how the world turns when Cronus gets bored once more...

How goes, Hecate?

One could only hope.

For a Titan, he has been rather pedestrian in his curses. Does nothing but to accentuate the natural appetites and desires of the gods.

It goes well as can be expected. Still guiding lost souls home, though most are alive. They always seem to find my shop and whatever they are seeking, even if they do not know what they are seeking.

He is, however, showing surprising imagination in the means by which he lets those appetites and desires run rampant. The bastard.

Glad to hear that you've also carved a little niche in a world that no longer offers a venerated place for your craft.

...for simpler days, Hecate.

Oh congratulations, love. I wish you well.

I would like to apologize for my behavior a few weeks ago. It was inexcusable, and I would like to make it up to you. I'll leave the appropriate punishment up to you, love.
[/locked]

Also, I would like to add that it is not my fault that the entire 7th floor is attracting attention by so many people. I consider it my due, so I am quite baffled at their complaints.

Thank you, Dite.

When I decide to take my vengeance upon you, you will find that I can be exquisitely cruel.

Some are not used to the attention...though the jury is still out on whether or not I lay the blame at your feet.

You are very welcome, my lord.

[Locked to Ares]
It would be what I deserve.

If it is my fault, then it would be unwittingly. I wouldn't necessarily choose to curse my sisters for example.

[Locked to Aphrodite]
Indeed. We will discuss what you deserve in great detail very soon.

I suppose I can see that. Not exactly what I might consider your first choice in targets.

Since it sounds as if you haven't turned up on the wrong side of a brawl again, I'll say that I'm glad to hear things are going well for you, Ares.

Very much the right side of a brawl, actually.

Thank you, Perse.
