I think varying the colors is fine. People will appreciate that you are handmaking them, and I'm sure they will be beautiful. This way, they are almost unique, one-of-a-kind creations.

Oh, good. That's what I was hoping for!

We've worked really hard on this, and choosing paper is no exception. It's been through many incarnations, but I think we finally have it figured out. The only thing left to juggle is a small part of the content, and then we can begin the production and assembly process. We're shooting for a July mailing, to give people plenty of time to make travel arrangements. (I think at least 75% of our guests will be travelling at least 500 miles!)

I'm with S, pretty handmade invitations definitely beat identical not-so-pretty ones hands down.

Yeah, I was peaking at flights. Any chance we can just charter that early Sunday morning flight from DC to Memphis on the day of?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with assorting your colors... but I'm 90% sure that if you really wanted a whole ream of the same color, it's out there. (We have 2 obnoxiously large packages of card stock here, in colors nobody ever uses... they were at least 500 sheets to start with, possibly 1000.)

Most of your guests will only ever see one invitation. So, who's going to know that they weren't all the same?? Go for it.
