Soooo, normally, I mean to post and don't get around to it, but I read or skim everything on my friends list every day. Though sometimes I open things and go 'I will read this later' and that later may take a while

Comment away! I get comments on week-old posts rather frequently, and enjoy seeing them.

I don't mind comments which are in odd order, since there is a pretty good chance that LJ itself will direct comments to my email in weird order.

I think most people would still want comments.

I think comments at any time are good. I sometimes am tempted to comment on posts that are years old when I stumble across them for whatever reason.
