Hey, that weekend as originally planned had you, ochaos and pharfig all running off to musical happenings in other states without me.

I'm just lucky reality got edited in a way tha left me with something to do.

Yes, though I may have no voice. I /have/ to be at work on Friday, since Jessica is out of town that day. If I'm gonna be over there anyway, then stopping at your house just breaks up my drive into two more manageable chunks. That said, voice is currently very sad.

I'm dealing with a sinus infection. I seem to get them almost every time I fly, drat it. Grr.

Have a *GREAT* time at OVFF!! Wish I could be there too, but can't manage it this year.

I may get around to reading the second Circle of Magic quad (I read the first one for Mythopoeic, and liked it well enough, but have never gotten around tho the rest).

I've never read a Fforde book, but I have it on good authority that his new series is set in a book that's lightly mentioned in the Thursday Next books. So since the worlds in books TN actually exist (I think), it presumably more or less exists there.

See you at OVFF (nrivkis and I had an extended lunch conversation where we got hotel reservations and plane tickets, making this -much- more solid).

I hiss at the sick for you! *hugs* I make you soup and stuff it down the phoneline? Get better soon sweetie. And...*whimper* Jasper Fforde. We DON'T get his books here or I'd have them in a -shot-, honest to chocolate. Another thing to be a little wistful about.
