I'd add as well that in a French version of Doctor Who, the Doctor would without doubt always shag his companion/s, drink and smoke constantly, and be an existentialist.

That was fun. He totally nailed old-school DW music. I just wish I could've understood more of the second half when he started speaking French, but my Francais is not so great. I probably got about 5%, if that.

Heh, yes a knowledge of French helps with that bit. I wish Bill Bailey was my French teacher when I studied it at uni. I would've learnt more of it much faster :p

Heh, I'll do a rough translation:

It's him. At night, Doctor Who. He travels in the TARDIS - a phone box - a fantastic place. The inside is bigger than the outside. And that, is the mystery of Doctor Who.

His enemy is named Davros. He's the boss of the Daleks. He is part Dalek and part human. Incredible! He wants to take over the world. He always wants to take over the world! When he wakes up in the morning, he wants to take over the world. After breakfast, he wants to take over the world! But he doesn't take over the world, ever! He's not very realistic. Against the Daleks, the Doctor is superiour. "Exterminate! Exterminate again! Oh no! We've lost! The Doctor's won!" He laughs, "ha ha ha! I've won because I am Doctor Who!"
