Moving up in the world and office politics

Ok, so I get that there are office politics, and that there are just some things that you just can't talk about with people. But this one has me a little frustrated and slightly amused

You know, if I had one I would. But honestly, there isn't one since I'm not actually applying for anything. I'll see if I can find something similar.

To be honest I only have a vague idea of what the job is. When I first got this job I had next to no idea what I'd be doing (other than knowing that it was some kind of office work for a bank). So you can see how good I am at getting knowledge about where I am looking for employment.
