Wow... what a powerful piece. I've always been intrigued by that painting on the wall and why she had no eyes. Now I'll never believe any other explanation (hehe) -- yours makes a lot of sense! It fits Saavedro's character so well, too... I can see him sitting there, rocking back and forth, then painting like a madman.
Great to see this again! We're actually putting together a fanfiction journal again for Mysterium at the Narayani Collective (www.mystmakers.org/narayani/) and I was wondering if you'd be interested in having this story included. Also, if you don't mind I'd also like to include the sample chapter from "The Stranger's Story" you sent me for the last project.
