Wow... what a powerful piece. I've always been intrigued by that painting on the wall and why she had no eyes. Now I'll never believe any other explanation (hehe) -- yours makes a lot of sense! It fits Saavedro's character so well, too... I can see him sitting there, rocking back and forth, then painting like a madman.

We're actually putting together a fanfiction journal again for Mysterium at the Narayani Collective (www.mystmakers.org/narayani/) and I was wondering if you'd be interested in having this story included.
