Sweet! Have fun!

I'm (probably) headed for Texas sometime in the spring for post-Ike reconstruction.

Sweet! Yeah....I still have my eye on New Orleans - but they are still booked for forever.

I'm thinking about becoming a "Team Lead" just so I can gather a team and go to NOLA. Grrrr. Well, actually I may become a team lead just so I can afford these trips.

You should too.....you've done enough of these trips to lead one!

Nah... I feel the love in Biloxi (or, probably in the not-so-distant future, Texas). :) Plus, I've got a standing invite to come down any time I want, and all it costs me is airfare + about $10/night.

I think team leads can go where ever they want (so you could do all Biloxi trips), and all costs are taken care of :)

At least that is what I was told by a team lead, and I'll find out more on this trip. If I receive a recommendation from a team lead...it's all just paper work and training from there!

weeee! I am actually going to try fund raising this time to (hopefully) lift a bit of the burden of cost. Habitat has an area where you people can donate to your trip...and they get the tax deduction :)

The Mongolia trip killed me....as far as expenses. At least this one will only be around 2200.

that is the suckage....we should hang out on Xmas...Oh, we should hike or do something strenuous for Xmas.

Everyone is always busy with family, and my family celebrates on the eve (crazy Germans).

Thanks, and nope...I didn't see it (between work, school, 2 dogs, etc...I don't get online much anymore).

I'll try to locate that post though, packages...especially around Xmas time would be a nice thing to do, as long as it's not too costly. I be broke soon :)
