The Long Way Round is a brilliant, brilliant documentary. I own it if you wanna borrow it.

(Mongolia was one of my favorite bits as well as the portion where they slog through Siberia. Incredible footage!)

And, speaking of the west coast of Scotland, I'll be right in the thick of the Highlands for my holiday in another week. Huzzah!

I'd love to borrow it. One of our HFH-GV teammates pointed it out the other day...it was the first I had heard of this documentary. The few short scenes I have been able to find on youtube look amazing. I couldn't believe how very similar their experiences in Mongolia were compared to our experience.

I should make a "Movie night" out of this...on the monster TV. How long will you be in Scotland? Sounds like an excellent holiday :)

The DVD set has two discs containing seven episodes. All great! Even the European and N. American episodes have something interesting to offer. Though, yes, the richer episodes take place in Asia. I must visit some day!

Of course handing off the discs may be a bit of a logistical nightmare considering my school and travel schedule; but I'm sure we can work it. Send me message and we'll sort something out.

As to Scotland, my brother and I are leaving next Friday. We'll return on the 15th. The funny thing is that we'll be seeing our parents, who live in Atlanta, in Gourock, which is my Mum's old hometown. They will happen to be over on holiday, too.

Thank FSM we'll be doing some Munro Stalking while we're there because I'll need some exercise to compensate for the huge influx of heavy beer and fried food.
