Is there anything worse than feeling poorly informed and foolish and silly on a day where you haven't actually spoken to anyone?

Ugh. My usual solution to this research. It doesn't really matter on what. Just. Research. Research is good for you!

Nothing, really! I don't have access to a library at the moment. But I did go off and read Richard Ellis' Singing Whales and Flying Squid, which is an awesome text on life in the ocean and how we know what's there and what we don't know.

The last couple of chapters deal with over-fishing, which is really alarming. Would have been more than enough to put me off seafood, if I hadn't already read about this last spring, and also, weren't a vegetarian anyway.
