I only finished Bone this year! The collected volume was a Christmas gift from my parents. I read the first several volumes back in sixth grade (having been introduced to the comic by, of all things, Disney Adventures magazine, which printed about one issue in installments and then abruptly quit), until I hit a point where I couldn't find more - for a long while I was under the impression there wasn't any more, and I was awfully sad about it, but what I'd got to read was so good that was almost okay.
My brother and I would share them back and forth when we got them out of the library. So, to this day, whenever someone in our house suggests quiche, someone else will say "Monsters don't eat quiche!".
Hahahaha, I got into it via DISNEY ADVENTURES too! I spent forever convinced it only existed in those old DA issues, and convinced I'd never, ever find out what happened next to the Bone brothers; the collected edition was the first time I ever truly found out the whole story - a whole two years ago when it originally came out, I think. Has it really been that long?
Mmm, a delicious fluffy quiche! (Stupid, stupid rat creatures, you're far too lovable for your own good.)
As if "E" wasn't hard enough already ._. I CAN DO THIS. Somehow.
Heeee! Clearly they did a better job of popularizing it than the, uh, interesting publication schedule would suggest! (I thought that was all there was until I found the early volumes at the library, too! I was so sad! I couldn't understand why they'd stopped running such an awesome comic. Did Mr. Smith die? I thought this was the only possible reason.)
I love their last scene. "Shut up and eat your quiche." (They aaaare. And Bartleby! Oh man.)
Oops. I have no idea what's easy! I was wishing for something easier when I got "T".
And Judge is just an amazing actor, too, in addition to being as hot as a steamy summer day in the Sonora. I don't think Teal'c would be anywhere near as great if he weren't playing him, I just. I fangirl that man so much.
