The calm,
Cool face of the river

Rivers and the ocean at night are rather scary...like they are drawing you in. random.

Hughes tends to be - I think "Genius Child" is probably nastier, but.

I can see how they would be - I've never been worried by them, but it makes sense to me that other people are.

I used to have spooky dreams when I was little that the ocean was going to reach out and get me. I think it was because in Winter it swallowed up the beach and became too dangerous to swim in and was all grey.
