Okay, has anyone ever wondered why pocs are so invisible in most U.S. newspapers?

I will tell you, because I have only just remembered this - it happened while I was staring in quiet despair at my Create A Usage Guide assignment and angst about said assignment drove it out of my head at the time.

That's so weird to me because I do care about everyone regardless of all the things you put out there. I empathize with everyone. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. *snugs you*

And it makes you wonder if those on the otherside of the coin (opposite of the traits you mentioned)care about *their* opposites. It makes me want to cry.

*snugs you* Well, a lot of journalism students seem to have this weird idea that being Tough and Hardbitten and Cynical and straight out of some odd noir homage is a requirement to be in the classes, so...

Yeah, and it seriously is presented as the unproblematic option. As the right solution, you know?

Which is probably because a large mass of people don't usually write angry letters to the editor all at the same time about that kind of systemic issue.
