Hello everyone, I need your help. I am I'm needs of larp costuming and am willing to make and purchase what is needed. It is for Lorien who is a knight now so I want something a bit nicer than Ren shirt-tabbard-pants. I cannot and will not fight in a corset...so you see the problem. Okay.
* Leather doublets / bodices without boning: Ravenswood Leather. They do custom sizing, really good quality leather, and did I mention no boning? No boning. That.
* Basic skirts/shirts/underdresses: LoriAnn does great stuff - heavy cotton, decent stitching, good color palette. (She does a lot of corset-things too, but don't let that throw you off.)
* My go-to for anything custom-designed or raw basics ("I need 5 pairs of black wrap-pants!") is Lydia - she is AWESOME, doesn't charge nearly as much as she should, and has one of those awesome embroidery machines for hoopyness.
* Hideously expensive boots that are worth it: Son of Sandlar. Otherwise? I've had decent luck just hitting up Zappos for tall boots, but be sure to get the kind with a tread on the bottom!
