Y'know, I managed to never watch an episode, though I heard marvelous things about the series. Of course, the same could have been said for Buffy and Firefly. Thank goodness for DVD!

Oh, yes! Season One of Veronica Mars is some of the best TV I've seen in years.

And I didn't explicitly say so in my first post, but your haikus are marvelous- I particularly liked mentions of Bogart and Buffy in the same line.

How has S3 been? I saw the first couple of episodes, and then the friend I watch it with went MIA, so I've been out of touch.

I'd have to say that S2 and S3 lacked the oomph of S1, with S3 in particular skating into teen-soap territory. It was still better than nearly anything else on TV, though, including S3 of House.

http://www.neptunesite.com/ has announced that CW will not be picking up S4, even in revamped form. I suppose they could do it as a mid-season replacement.
