I was surprised that Jedward didn't get more points, they're so insanely popular.

Taking it seriously or not, lots of people seems to watch! :-D I used to have the impression that very few even watched. Making fun of it and wondering what the hell is going on most of the time is all part of the fun. ;-) Loads here have a hard time taking it seriously as well, and the whole madness around it here makes me exasperated too. But this song I really like, and compared to some of the odd stuff competing here in Sweden this year? Oh boy, so grateful for Loreen! :-D

It made a great deal more sense when someone mentioned it was a club track! As late night trance it was excellent ;-)

So, be honest, was our entry really that terrible? I'd started to quite like it after endless radio plays.

Definitely a club track! All sort of music is sifted through the Swedish Eurovision. ;-P

NO IT WASN'T THAT BAD!! Seeing old Humperdinck was a bit jarring and his name will never not be an insult. But he has his place in music history and the song was quite all right! :-D

Actually I quite liked the UK entry and I don't understand at all why it ended up so far down the list.

Congrats, it's really bad family viewing that we like mocking. I know England doesn't take it seriously but we should get our act together because our country has so much musical talent, though one of our comedians commented we probably wouldn't win even if we entered Adele because no one like us :(

Happy for you though! I will definitely be thinking of you if it's in Malmo next year (in fact I shall be looking for you in the audience)

Yay, congrats!! We had a small ESC party that evening and 6 out of us 7 voted for Sweden ;-). As usual there was an unbelievable amount of just awful and incredibly boring songs - but that's part of the fun somehow *g*. As is the voting. Some countries' voting is sooo predictable.
