The Rarmitage looks incredibly hot in series 8, but the plot ... *shakes head*. Dunno, maybe I've expected too much, cos series 7 was just brilliant, but so far the new eps didn't really work for me either. Yep, I agree with you - there's even more chemistry between Lucas/Tariq than between Lucas/Sarah ;(

You may be right: too high expectations. Well, nothing lasts forever. LOL at Lucas/Tariq! True! And I might become a Harry/Ruth shipper because of this, I dunno.

I love spy plots and action, and after being left somewhat cold by ep 1 with its emphasis on Ruth and Harry have quite enjoyed the sleeker, smarter ep 2 and more Lucas in it (loved his strip bar scenes - for some reason I found the James-Bond-ish feel really funny - and adored the "bloody Internet" quip), but am 100% in the same camp Lucas/Sarah-wise ( ... )

Spot on! :-/ What has happened to modern day writing? They could have gotten so much into that scene by some witty, good dialogue.

Seems we have to wait for that hawt scene RA promised us. I'm torn. Yep, it will be eye-candy! But ugh, I hope I've warmed to the woman by then. And I will do all in my powers to see it. Anything with RA. 8-)

Feels good to hear your opninons, y'all. I sat here thinking this was just me really missing our Guy. I do miss him awfully, but still.

Gawd, I miss that Guyliner! I kept looking at Lucas's eyes, I couldn't figure out why... Then it hit me.

And RA does an amazing job as Lucas, no doubt about it. So give the man his own damn show! >;-)
