I love BTVS for nostalgic reasons but ATS is stronger IMO. And the things it does with its characters still affect me. Enjoy!

I love Doyle's place in this and what his death signifies for the series but yeah he's a bit meh.

i appreciate doyle's death because i've heard that a lot of this show is a giant fridgefest for women and i love so much what his dying does for cordy's arc (but i still cry like a child when i watch the end of 'hero')

Well I wouldn't say that it gets better with women tbh. But it does show all types of women very well so there's that.

Everyone cries when watching Hero. I still can't believe that they aired IWRY and Hero one after the other. It's rough.

oh no i know don't worry (whedon and all)

i've gotta be honest and tell you that iwry does very little for me but i find it really upsetting and difficult to watch (but even then it's not because i'm being moved in a certain way by what's happening and more of a 'wow this is fucking depressing' kind of thing)-i know you're a hardcore bangel shipper though so i can't even begin to imagine what it does to you ;;

THE ORACLES ARE IN IWRY THOUGH SO THAT'S A PLUS (i like how the lady oracle is such a magpie and gets so excited about the tributes angel brings her)-i so have complicated feelings about angel going to turn back time (i understand WHY he did it but overriding everybody's memories like that, especially buffy's...)
