why can't you knit lace? what's the yarn? what were you trying to knit? the first time i knit lace it took me several pattern repeats before i felt confident in what i was doing, and another several before i could bs my way past random careless mistakes like i can in regular knitting.
i thought people generally don't let you return yarn if you've already unwound/"opened"/used it or whatever.
*highly amused* where are you going to be living next year? FLOCK? Wayland?
they have an individual piano class? that sounds oh so tempting...
