UGH FUCK SHITTY CHOIR LEADERS. FUCK THEM. Deep breaths, bb. Maybe just work in small increments? Sing through at least one part of each song every day, just take fifteen minutes of your day to go through them? One thing I've learned about learning music is that things get easier to build off of even if you just review them consistently. Keep it slow and low-stress now, a month before you HAVE to know them, and you'll pick them up quicker than you realize.
That said - Hungarian? I am so sorry. THERE ARE TOO MANY DAMN CONSONANTS IN THAT LANGUAGE.
;alsfjhdlj yeah, I'm going to see if meeting with Edith (who can play piano accompaniment, thank jesus) will help smooth things over. I mean... the English songs should be easy, but HUNGARIAN IS HARD. And I think only one of the songs is Latin. Baww.
It should be shot and hung. :| I can slowly pick it up, as I already know several words and phrases, but hnnngh to have to remember how to pronounce each word while singing is difficult, because I have a loud voice, mostly when I get up near soprano range.
