We have had 50-70 mile per hour winds for 3 days.  It is a bit unnerving, it gives me a pressure headache. Some time during the night the winds died down and it is 40 degrees and sunny. The snow is almost melted.  We are going to finish the interior doors today for the bathroom and the closets so we can get them hung. yeah!  I am trying to get

I'm not real fond of strong winds either.

Do you have a fireplace or a woodstove or both? I'd love to have either one and both would be heaven. Nothing warms you like wood heat :)

We have an awesome wood stove. One with soapstone all around it so we can cook on it. I love wood heat too.
