Awwww, I think the splotchiness looks fine. :)

That doll needs some serious shut-eye.

What an interesting choice. *blinks more*

We paid someone to sand our wood floors and finish them when we bought the house >>;; On the bright side, less vacuuming!

It was less than a new doll >>;;; We got the husband of the woman who helps my Mom with the cleaning. He does home building with a company but I suspect he makes more doing side jobs like mine than. >>;

The estimates I got were well into the thousands. I'd rather have a new doll >_>

When we bought our house, we tore out all the carpet and sanded/finished the hardwood. It was HARD and awful, but looks great now. I hate carpet. Anyway, what are your plans for the floor?

The E'star doll's mouth bothers me more than the bags under her eyes. Can't put my finger on why, but the mouth disturbs me for some reason.

Eventually I want to sand it, stain it a dark color, etc. I hate carpet too, so I think this will all be worth it in the end.

I hope. x_X

Oh, it'll be worth it, for sure! Getting there is the hard part. If you ever want any tips or advice, let me know - it's been less than two years since I did 1100sf of floor, and I remember it well. Oh so very well.

LOL, thanks. Right now I'm trying to bleach out the stains with hydrogen peroxide. It gives the wood an interesting smell, that's for sure.

I ♥ your picture :) That doll's eyes look like mine lately, I think.

Good luck with your floors *hug* I have this horrible habit of doing stuff like that - rush in all headlong and get to some irreversable point and then realize just how much work there IS.

Oh yeah. When I saw the pile of carpet and realized what I'd done... I almost cried. xD
