I saw fairyrune's post first, and asked this there, but I'm going to ask again here, just to see if I can get any other insights...

I don't understand how this would outlaw birth control (the egg has NOT been fertilized yet, so... How is NOT fertilizing it a crime?)

Also, how can it possible criminalize miscarriages? Does that all mean a someone who has a heart attach is a criminal? Generally, miscarriages are an unfortunate, but NATURAL occurrance, aren't they? (Admittedly, I have no medically training and could be wrong, but I was pretty sure that a miscarriage was the body's way of ending a pregnancy that was medically not-viable.)

The birth control part, as I understand it, mostly pertains to the morning-after pill, but could also be viewed as a stepping-stone toward banning preventative birth control as well ( ... )
