everytime that it begins to feel like spring
(when my lilac tree is budding and i can open the windows/door to air out my house, the tulips are growing, the animals are running around cutely, and the children of my neighborhood are shrieking for no reason at all)

i drag my family out into the back yard to show them all the flowers growing and walk down to krogers where i purchase spring oreos (which is one of those seasonal oreos and it has sky blue filling and various tulips, kites, or lady bug shapes imprinted on them)

Oh Maeve. It's warm here too, and I get this joy I haven't felt in a long time. I've been happy recently, but this is a different kind of happy. =D

I miss you.

I know exactly what you mean.

I was really disappointed not to see you at Maple Syrup Weekend. I think I got there soon after you left on Sunday.

I miss you, too!
