There's something about sitting in my kitchen in the middle of the night, making popcorn on the stove and listening to music that makes life seem incredibaly simplistic and beautiful.

also try listening to music in the dark, it makes it come alive in the most beautiful way.
(its why i can't sleep and listen to music at the same time, part of my mind is always listening to the beauty of it all)

I love doing that. You just shut off all your other senses until the music is the only thing left and it overwhelms you.

like sitting on the back dock with a lemon bar covered in powered sugar (that you are the first to get your hands on) and a large glass of milk with tori amos blaring in the kitchen behind you
