What are you using to log distances and times?

it's the Nike+/ipod system:

http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?find=nike+plus&btn.x=0&btn.y=0

I plug a receiver into my nano, and attach a sensor to my shoe, and it does the pedometer thing. iTunes uploads all the stats to the Nikeplus website for tracking and whatnot, which is what that screenshot is from. the Nano also displays stuff like your distance run and pace, and a voice fades in over your music to alert you about mileage as you go.

It isn't perfect - assuming my apartment complex's treadmill is accurate, the sensor varies by up to a few percent in either direction. But it's been a huge motivator for me.

I'm pretty sure mine is a bit off too - since ALL the mapping sites I could find say my route is 1.3 miles and it keeps giving me 1.38. BUT ... big deal. You walk around other times of the day. It all adds up in the end I think. And it's close enough.
