Being a Muzzie stuck in a Christian world gets difficult at Christmas. You have Muslims telling you that you shouldn't be "celebrating Christmas" and that it is haraam (forbidden) and blah blah blah. In response to the Muslim/Christian religious issues, I've always found that sad too. Religion, though gratifying, is so difficult when it's not easily accepted, and that's why we should replace tolerance with acceptance. I generally steer clear from religion for that very reason- one person has utter faith in what they think is completely true and they won't accept anyone else's say. People seem to think that because they accept something they are admitting that it's okay, or the "truth". Blah blah, incoherent because I'm tired, sorry ( ... )
