I AM FINALLY READING THIS. And it is lovely. I like the twisty hunter family of Winchesters (Sam as the researcher, yes. Dean wondering if Mary would be proud of him or scared for him, all of the yes). I was pleased to spot Ansem in here - he's a sadly neglected character. The weird relationship between Dean and Cas at this stage is a pleasure to read - the mirrored pushing and relenting between them.

Typos:
The angel's are here and the hunters rise to meet them. 'angel's' should not have an apostrophe.

Nothing is going to stop him helping Jo avenger her father 'avenger' should be 'avenge'.

I don't usually leave comments before I've finished a story, but I just wanted to tell you that you are actually *awesome*. There is nothing about this story that is not perfect, and it's taking all of my brainpower to try and be coherent and not just flail like a mad thing and keyboard smash in this comment.
