I've had this sitting around for almost a month now...I guess I should post it.

Originally written as a Sweet Charity fic for invisibleshrew but I misinterpreted the prompt "The first time Mal thumped Wash" as "The first time Mal humped Wash". And then it just became a story. Saddly, with no humping going on

Wow, this was not what I expected, but I don't care- it's so much more than that! It's fabulous. I love it. Mal/Wash and Mal/Zoe/Wash seem completely believable and in character here, and make me want to read more. I don't suppose there's any chance for a sequel? Because apart from the usual desires for M/W/Z smut, you've created a fascinating AU here that I'd love to read more about. I'd like to see Hadyn grow up!

Oh man! I remember talking to you about this idea back when it was but an inkling of an idea. Hell, I read the first chunk of it thinking "Haven't I read this before?" Mind, I kept reading 'cause it was still so good, haha. Truly, this is some seriously good stuff. And I have to reiterate what sugar_fey said about a sequel-- not totally necessary, but you've built up so much it's almost brimming over the top with possibilities. I don't even care about smut, this is just too rich to let go!

What an engrossing and well-written story! I was wondering about the threesome - but the way you write it, well, seems to fall naturally into place...
