It's the fic everyone's been waiting for! *cheers*

This fic is for lvs2read, who asked for Kickass Wash with Badger. I don't really know if you got kickass Wash but you did get Wash/Badger. Which is the important part, I think. :P

It's a bit of an AU starting pre-series. Likely rated PG-13 or light R, I suppose.

Oh wow! Seriously nifty story here! The voices and quirky turns of phrase are brilliant, which I've pretty much come to take for granted with your Firefly stuff, but the amount of detail and little Wash-insights in this are totally squee-worthy too. (Plus, giant Badger fan here, so you just know I was gonna love this. *G*) Great stuff!

"Little bit of an AU" Does mean that you have plans to continue this? Because I'd sure like to know if Wash turns on Badger in the end. *eg*

Wash is really curious on why Simon and River are so important to Badger. So he wants to find out more and this curiosity leads to him falling in love with Simon and betraying Badger. He's hugely torn about it, though. It leads to all sorts of angst. Or it will...if I write it. ;)
