Drabble # 15
For downfall35, Castiel/Dean and 'strip'.
Every attempt at hitting on the angel has failed. Pickup lines are met with confusion, straight answers or dismissal. Subtle touches, the brush of a hand, squeeze of an arm, aren't even acknowledged. Come fuck me eyes and sexy poses are swept over without a care. Subtle is going to have to get blown out the window pretty soon but Dean has just one more trick up his sleeve first.
He's been nursing the same lukewarm cup of awful bitter coffee for nearly a half-hour when Castiel appears next to his side on the hood of the Impala. Dean's ready for it and, really, the moment couldn't have played itself out more perfectly. Dean jerks his arm and the coffee splatters. All over Castiel's trench coat and tie and white shirt. Castiel doesn't even blink.
Dean tries not to grin. “Oh! Hey, man.” He presses his fingers against Castiel's shirt like that would lift the darkening stain away. “We're gonna have to get you out of these.”
Castiel goes from blank to perplexed like a light switch thrown and he glances down. “Why?”
“Why? Because that's gonna stain and I'm pretty sure there's something about angel's needing to be...y'know, immaculate.” He grabs hold of Castiel's coat to start pulling the angel towards the motel room Dean's been waiting outside of. “Come on. We'll just get those clothes off you and-”
He's cut off when Castiel puts the brakes on, turning just to see Castiel pass his hand over the strained clothes. The stain lifts away in it's wake and Dean's face falls.
“We need to talk.”
Fucking self-cleaning angels.
