*Fahrenheight looks at Whirl sharply after receiving Thundercracker's comm* [Scomm: Whirl] It looks to me like things are dissolving already. Choose now. We either try to end the threat of these two Decepticons, or we let one triumph to do who knows how much more damage! [/comm]

*Done with his say, Fahrenheight repositions himself and trains one set of weapons on Starscream, the other on Megatron, now merely waiting for a full charge on the cannons.*

*Whirl begins swearing sulphurously. The last thing he wanted to do was step in between Megatron and Starscream, but what the triplechanger seemed to be forgetting was that they were only two against a veritable army of Decepticons. Three, if he counted Sideways, but something about that mech still seemed off to him.*

[SComm: Fahrenheight] In case you forgot, we're the only Autobots here. We start takin potshots now, an' we'll just be smears against that wall. I'm gonna try something, but be ready to bug out if this backfires on us. [/comm]

*Whirl takes careful aim between the combatants and fires a blast of energy into the ground between them.* Stay this madness! Are you both such cowards that you are unwilling to put ancient enmity aside? This quest is bigger than such petty concerns.

*Starscream's energy shield flares briefly at the proximity of Whirl's shot. He glances up at the two Autobots with a look that says, "I'll be killing you later." Then he lays into Megatron with a series of chaos energy-driven punches.*

[Scomm:Whirl] ...Effective. ...Hn...Perhaps you should go see if you can locate Thundercracker..I will continue to observe here. If I fail to prevent anything, you will know if you return to find "a smear against that wall". [/comm]

*Fahrenheight gets his boosters to respond just shy of becoming a splattered identation in the ground. Unfortunately, he still goes tumbling across the rock and dirt, leaving plenty of evidence of his ungraceful landing. He lays flat on his back for several nanokliks, groaning and waiting for his cranium to stop pounding.*

*Up in orbit, a ship decloaks, points his nose towards where he needs to go, and descends.*

*Despite the lack of chaos at his command, Starscream moves toward Sideways with deadly intention. He still has his regular weapons after all, and he still has his superior frame. He levels both barrels at the Delorean-mech and sneers at him.*

I don't care who your mystery ally is. All you have done is delay the inevitable death of Megatron......and your own demise will follow...

*Sideways shrugs and shifts to block Megatron with his body.* I am expendable.
