The band of light is kind of distracting. It leads your eyes to the corner of the picture where there is that random wire on the floor. Your eyes need to be lead up to him, the main focus. Also, the stuff on the wall is kind of distracting and takes away from the main focus of the photo. Maybe if the backround were to be blurred a bit using a different setting. Do you keep your camera on manual or automatic? Flash or none? What speed film were you using?

The color on the part that isn't the light streak is really nice. I also like the angle you took it from. It is really in focus and you can see details on his face such as specificfeatures which is good

i do everything manually, i think the aperture was 11 and shutter speed @ 1/60

no flash. and.. film - 400 portra vc

well, the light thing isnt a mistake, its supposed to be there

if you see how each member of the bands portraits are, the light streak is in the same place

check out their myspace, the ones they have up there right now look the same way with similarities
