You know what? I decided to give up things for Lent, too. Even though I'm not Catholic anymore.

Jesus was a good person, as all spiritual leaders past and present, were and are good people. I see no issue with devoted a concentrated amount of my time and energy in honor of all they have done. For this reason, I have decided to go vegan for Lent. No meat, no dairy. I will drink beer, though--I'm not going to be extreme vegan. I mean, chumon.

I'm calling it Amandalent.

And I'm making a very conscious effort not to shit-talk, too. Because I do that way too much. And it needs to stop. I'm stopping the hating.
