Congratulations on getting into school! That sounds like a great program for you. I may try to make it over to Spain sometime in the next few years--I will let you know. I won't be in Florida when you are coming; my mom is visiting me here in B-more. But the American Humanist Association will be in town for their annual conference. If you feel like taking a break from the fam and meeting some atheists, they'll be around.

Pimp my bicycle?! That also sounds awesome.

yeah, pimp my bicycle is the eco-socalist states response to our wonderful version. It basically involves hippies turning found bike parts into super hip fixed gears with skull and cross-bone decorations. Are you my LJ friend that reads Don Dillo, I just finished underworld, amazing.

Haha, eco-socialist state...Benn, that just made me really miss you. Someone gave me a horn in the shape of a skull for my bike, but it wouldn't fit next to the little radio my mom gave me. I like to listen to NPR on the way into work.

I am your LJ friend that reads Don Delillo! But I never finished Underworld. I got halfway through and put it down, and I still don't know why because it was such a good book. The way the scene is laid out near the beginning at the baseball stadium--that still vividly sticks out in my mind even though I read it several years ago. Maybe I should take it with me on my trip.

i've been trying so hard to avoid that reference because it's still not funny here (you'd think they'd get over it). What is funny to them is east germany, if you haven't already you should see 1,2,3 with james cagney.
