This weekend, we went down to Connecticut to spent time with some of my old High School friends.  We had a blast!  There's something about spending time with people who've know you forever that makes it automatically fun.  My cheeks hurt from laughing so much.  Spending Sunday on Mike's boat was definitely the highlight, and our insanely indulgent ( Read more... )

Tom was due to join us in CT on Friday, and I was planning my girls-only spa day and frantically trying to finish my bridesmaid's scrapbooks!

I can't believe I've been married to Tom for a year already.  We're off to Newport this weekend to celebrate!

I dropped Tom off at the airport for a Vegas bachelor party tonight (good lord) and stopped to pick up some Ben and Jerry's Black and Tan on my way home, because as a beer lover, I've been curious about it.

This is about the funniest thing I have ever seen.  Reminds me of just about everyone I met when I was working in Chelsea.  In fact, if you've ever been to a club, you can relate.

Well, the apartment is pretty well packed, we're officially living out of boxes, and I'm getting all sappy about leaving the apartment....

1.  The old-fashioned radiators.  Even though they clank, and hiss, and are so noisy we choose not to even turn the one in our bedroom on (even in winter!), I will miss being able to throw my towel over the one ( Read more... )

These past few weeks have been really busy.  I've gone to 3 baby showers and an engagement party, and helped a friend move.  Mike and Evelyn moved into an awesome new house!  They had been living in a rental in coventry on the lake for a few years now, and Tom had lived there before Evelyn moved in, so it was kind sad to see the place all empty.  ( Read more... )

Guess what?  I got ANOTHER flat tire this morning on a Massachusetts highway on my way to babysitting (school is off this week and I'm trying to hustle some extra dough).  I am beyond mad about this.  First, I just dropped several hundred dollars on my car-including new tires- for a 60,000 mile maintenance.  Some of the repairs stemmed back from ( Read more... )
