[A pause. Then, the journal picks up a sigh and a small voice.]

I'm sure Lloyd would be happy to know that you are thinking about him, Colette.

He most likely feels that way after being unable to protect the tree.

I know all of us would be very angry if someone ever threatened the new World Tree. Martel would be, too. It's understandable how he feels, but it isn't an excuse to lash out at everybody.

[Voice]

And that is exactly why we need to show him why doing so is wrong, with Emil's help. But first we must help Emil gain the courage to stand up to Ratatosk, and I fear doing so will not be easy without Marta and Tenebrae's presence.

I know. But we have to try, as his friends.

[She smiles a little behind her journal.] Lloyd was able to give anyone courage. We just have to follow that example and share our courage with Emil.
