My other problem with Harriet is how super duper impressed we're all supposed to be with how super duper talented she is. And, well, I'm just not. I see an average actress doing an average job. It's like when they show the bits of sketch comedy and they are supposed to be so great and funny and all I can think is "I'd change the channel if that was actually a tv show." And it would be impossible for me to care even less about her ridiculous relationship with Matt.

Re Nip/Tuck: I have always thought Sean was the more fucked up one and it is nice to see the show actually exploring that terriorty. In my mind I like to imagine how, later in the season, we'll find out that last season was just a dream and Sean really is the carver. c'mon. You know you'd love that too.

i cannot BELIEVE sean in this ep. it's just a kidney, it wasn't like he was giving her his liver or something. living with only one kidney isn't a health hazard. i was appalled he'd rather have liz, his FRIEND who cares for him so much, on a dialysis machine for the rest of her life than give her an organ that wasn't going to mess up his life.

at the same time, sean is kind of a pathological liar. so the fact that he lied to liz about his test results didn't shock me at all.

the mets were in the national league championship series, which is the series you play to see who's gonna be in the world series. and they lost. but they had a good run!

the NLCS! i know that one, that one's where we kicked ass and turned it around at the last minute and TOOK OVER THE WORLD!

i am sad that the Mets didn't make it to the world series. back when i was in the 4th (?) grade they were in it and i rooted for them. and they won.

wait. that might have been the Mets against the Red Sox. damnit!
