I very much get the impression that Van Pelt is the one holding it together the best. I figure that's probably because she's already been scarred by Red John, she understands his wrath as well as Lisbon and Jane do.

One more part to go... sigh.

She is holding together the best, and you're right, it is because she's already been scarred by Red John. If anybody understands him, she does--along with, of course, Jane and Lisbon.
