Where are you running into problems? I find it's always easier in 'Rich Text' mode than in 'HTML'...in 'Rich Text' all you have to do is click the little LJ cut icon, type in what you want the link line to say, and then add your text in the grey area. Is this helpful???

Nope because that's what I've been doing. I get this little yellow shield at the bottom with a downward arrow at the bottom of the story. But it changes nothing. Still looks the same.

Well that's new. I've never seen the little shield and arrow. You've somehow installed a warrior LJ CUT!! LOL. Seriously...I don't know. When you click the LJ cut icon, do you at least get the grey box that shows up for you to type the text into??

I guess the only explanation is that your computer is possessed. I think that explains it all.

Yeah. I get the little grey box that when I first click it says, "read more". Then after I click it it's in the message box (grey) and says something like type here. I c/p my test into the grey box and then click save.

After years of wondering, I've finialy found you!
I don't think you know me, but I've been wondering about you for years. We like the same fics you see and for years now, every time I've read a fic I liked or that had a summery that looked like it could be something I liked, you've allready read it and commented on it. I've been quite suprised and impressed by this, as some of the fics you've commented on we've read at the same time (you're a faster reader then I, as you've gotten to the comment button before me on chapters that updated infront of my eyes).

You've been somewhat of a mystery to me, with no way of contacting you until now. I don't really want anything from you (unless you have some fic's you feel like recomending me ;-) ) I just wanted to say "hi" and tell you that one day, I'll get to comment a fic before you. ^_^
Happy fic hunting!

It's always nice to hear from new ppl. Especially when it's someone that enjoys the same stories as me. Thank you.

There are sooo many stories that I love. You have probably read many of them. My favorite right now is... The Tip of the Icing by Megyal. Something about that story! An old fav of mine is .... Wicked by Desolate03. Of course there's Slashpervert's series Harry Potter and the Bound Prince. I could go on and on. From short to novel length.

I hope to hear from you again.

Hi! *waves* So, I decided it's time to use lj and the first person I went to friend was you :) I didn't know you write, as well as read, I'll look over your work one of these days, when I have time!
Yay, my first lj post, I'm so excited! And wow, look at our birthdays!

Oh wow! Thanks! I'm honored! I rarely check this thing and for some reason LJ has stopped emailing me when someone leaves me a message! I'll gladly friend you!

Ok, thanks for friending me back! :) It's really wonderful how you constantly support writers, new and old alike; especially for the newbies it's not easy b/c people want to read stuff written by authors whom they know are good. That's why I thought you only read, now I wonder how you find time to do both the writing and the reading :D

Finding time to read is easy. Finding time to write... well the mood has to hit me. I used to carry a notebook around with me to write in but I hurt my wrist last Feb and I'm writing with my left hand so no notebooks for me right now.
