So I've found a new reality TV show to download and watch while knitting- well, two, actually. I'm starting to watch "Coast and Beyond," hosted by the yummy Neil Oliver, but I've also been watching something called "Supersize vs. Superskinny." In a recent conversation with sanguinity, she asked what my favorite insects were, and I told her Sugar Gliders. Have fun knitting!

Thank you! Though the creature that I'm knitting is more like a small flying squirrel, not an insect. I didn't know there were two such animals with the same name! Cool!

No, there's just Petaurus breviceps, and they aren't insects. I was just making something up to amuse myself (as I am wont to do). I'm sure I'll grow out of it...

There is a knitting group here at work who along with their own projects knit dolls and animal toys (and baby blankets and shawls) for our nursing students to take with them to Swaziland. Lovely!

I know alot of people who are limiting their time on the internet. Don't know the person of whom you speak, but chances are RL has gotten in the way.

Can't wait to see the pictures of the sweater! and I am in awe that you redid the sleeve so fast!

How marvelous! I'll definitely post a picture after I finish the stuffed animal, though first I need to get grey yarn. And yes, I suspect Risie is just busy, and there are also health issues, and months ago there was a New Man, so doubtless it's RL. I just miss her. :(

That sleeve went very quickly! I've been spending a lot of time in front of my computer, knitting, I must admit plus there was the trip and plenty of car knitting time.

Goodness! I'm glad you let me know about your weekend plans- I'll definitely call you this week. I'm getting close to my minutes today, but a new billing cycle starts tomorrow, so I'll call then. And yes, we need to make some plans! I'll need to have a chat with my parents and see when my stepdad can bring me, maybe halfway and we could meet halfway??

Risie is on Facebook and she posts things now and then. Nothing of major import lately, but she's alive and kicking, playing games, etc.
